What We Got Wrong About Business Planning (Until Now)

This week, I led a powerful room of agents through a very different kind of business planning process.

Not one that started with numbers.
Not one that started with production goals.
Not even one that started with metrics or marketing.

We started with alignment.

We asked:

✨ What drained you, and what gave you momentum?
✨ What are you no longer willing to carry into 2026?

Because strategy without alignment is just noise.

Start with these three steps:

  1. Check your alignment. Use my 7 E’s Framework.
  2. Define your 10X vision. Not what you think is possible — what would truly light you up?
  3. Build your marketing plan around what already works. Strip out what isn’t giving ROI.

From that place?

Your 2026 business plan won’t just look better. It’ll feel better.

And when it feels better, you actually stick to it.
