Last week, I stood in my closet staring at the mirror, getting ready for two days that honestly felt intimidating.
I was heading into a room with Will Guidara, Amy Porterfield, Eric Thomas, Jasmine Star, Trent Shelton — some of the top thought leaders of our time.
And if I’m honest? A wave of imposter syndrome hit me.
Part of me thought: Who am I to be here?
But here’s what I realized after those two days…
Lesson 1: Being > Doing
Will Guidara said something that stuck with me:
“If you have a goal, start running toward it and let the path reveal itself.”
It reminded me that becoming the next-level version of ourselves isn’t about hustling harder — it’s about who we’re being as we move forward.
Lesson 2: Radical Ownership
Trent Shelton brought the heat with this truth:
“You are the problem. You’re also the solution.”
Leadership starts with owning our part — the good, the messy, and the change that needs to happen.
Lesson 3: Your Energy Sets the Standard
Eric Thomas reminded us that energy is contagious:
“When you’re operating at the highest level, you attract people at the highest level.”
The way we show up is often the difference between being overlooked and being magnetic.
Lesson 4: Safe = Stuck
And Amy Porterfield said the line that hit me hardest:
“What’s keeping you safe is keeping you stuck.”
How often do we cling to what feels comfortable, even when it keeps us from the growth we say we want?
I left that event reminded that the dreams we’re chasing don’t require us to do more. They require us to become more.
Most agents let their calendar and clients run them. They wake up reactive, say yes to everything, and hope there’s enough energy left over for their big goals.
But stepping into CEO energy means something different:
- You run your calendar (it doesn’t run you).
- You protect your energy so you can show up at your highest level.
- You embody the role of strategist, leader, and CEO instead of bouncing from one urgent task to the next.
