The reason most agents stay stuck isn’t because they’re not smart enough, good enough, or capable enough to run a successful business.
It’s because they fight against the seasonality of our industry.
When things slow down, many agents either shut down because they’re overwhelmed or panic when business isn’t flowing the way it did in the spring and summer.
But here’s the truth most people miss:
When you learn to use seasonality to your advantage, fall becomes the most powerful time of the year to reset, refocus, and step fully into leadership.
That’s why I call September CEO Season. ✨
This is your window to pause, lead with intention, and build the foundation that will carry you through the year ahead. The choices you make right now will determine whether you hit the spring market scrambling… or fully prepared.
The One-Sentence Vision Exercise
Inside The Elevated Agent Collective this week, I gave my students a simple exercise:
Write a one-sentence vision for your business in the next 12 months.
Here’s the prompt I gave them:
“In 12 months, my business is ___ because ___.”
And here’s what came out of that session:
- “In 12 months, I will have all systems automated — lead gen, follow-up, referrals, events, and social — because I stopped doing it randomly.”
- “In 12 months, my business is consistent, automated, and joyful because I built systems sustainably and simplified my plan.”
- “In 12 months, my business runs productively and seamlessly because I hired an admin and put the right systems in place.”
- “In 12 months, my business is enjoyable, organized, and scalable because I have a team that honors my clients year-round — and I stopped doing everything on my own.”
Do you see the power of one sentence?
It’s more than clarity — it’s a declaration. ✨
It cuts through the noise of endless goals.
It defines what you’re building instead of drifting week-to-week.
It anchors every decision you’ll make over the next year.
What It Means to Lead Like a CEO
This is what it means to step into true CEO energy:
Start with vision.
Then align your leadership and your leverage behind it.
So here’s my challenge for you:
Write your one-sentence vision today.
Then ask yourself: What do I need to start or stop doing immediately to make this vision real?
If you’re ready to not just write the vision but build the systems, boundaries, and structure to support it — let’s talk. 💛
