Most real estate agents have a love-hate relationship with their CRM.
Confession: I’ve never used mine the way it was “supposed” to be used.
When I was running from showing to showing, I didn’t have the discipline to log every detail, and the automated “action plans” felt cold and impersonal. So I just didn’t do it.
Instead, I leaned on what felt natural — monthly newsletters, thoughtful gifts, client events, and personal touches that reminded people I cared.
That worked… but it wasn’t scalable.
Now, I use my CRM differently. A VA helps log the details I would never stay consistent with myself, and I use it for automations that actually matter: tagging, lead magnets, and simple follow-ups. It’s not fancy, but it’s aligned to how I actually run my business — which means I use it.
Here’s the lesson: relationships are the bloodstream of your business — but the systems that support them have to feel aligned to you. ✨
- If it’s too complicated, you’ll abandon it.
- If it feels impersonal, you won’t stick with it.
- But if it’s simple and authentic, you’ll stay consistent.
And consistency is what creates real flow.
So instead of asking, “What’s the perfect CRM?” try asking:
👉 “What’s the simplest way I can keep my relationships alive, consistently, in a way that feels like me?”
That one question will save you more leads, more clients, and more energy than any software ever could.
